Types of Prosthetic Teeth

How Is Prosthetic Teeth Made?
- To fill the gaps caused by missing teeth, a dental examination is first conducted by taking radiographs.
- If there are any infections or risks in the patient’s existing oral and dental structure, they are addressed first to create suitable conditions for the prosthetic teeth.
- Depending on the type of prosthetic teeth used, the adjacent teeth may need to be resized.
- Measurements are taken using impression materials, and the measurements are sent to the laboratory to initiate the production process of the prosthetic teeth.
- After the prosthetic teeth are produced based on the measurements, a trial is conducted in the patient’s mouth. If the fit and color are satisfactory, the prosthetic teeth undergo the final polishing and glazing process to obtain their final form.
